Mission Statement

Assist the University in achieving its mission of providing excellence in liberal and professional education by ensuring all purchases of property and equipment are properly recorded, safeguarded and available for use by Duquesne University students, faculty and staff.

Purpose

The purpose of the following web pages is to document the University’s policies and procedures pertaining to the acquisition, transfer, retirement and physical inventorying of property and equipment.

 The procedures that follow identify the roles and responsibilities each University official assumes in order to ensure the maintenance of a complete and accurate perpetual inventory of property and equipment
