Mission Statement

The mission of the University Computer Services department is to oversee the process of generating computer reports, securing and completing electronic filing with various outside vendors, and establishing secure access to the University's on-line reporting and ledger viewing in a timely and accurate manner, all the while providing prompt and courteous service to all. This goal is achieved through departmental teamwork, cross training and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service.

Rita Warfield is Coordinator of Computer Services for the Controller's Office, and, listed below are the highlights of her responsibilities:

1. Liason between The Controller's Office Departments and Computing and Technology Services.
2. Contact for training on Banner Self Serve Finance.
3. Develops Ad-Hoc Cognos reports, provides INB Reports as needed.
4. Archives reports for record retention.
5. Handles Electronic Transfers between Duquesne and Banks, Federal Agencies, and Financial Institutions.
6. Maintains Fund/Org Security for Banner Finance.
